"The property is very eclectic. Well decorated and a lot of seating outside on the patio. Breakfast was very good. Margaret was very friendly and always smiling. Bed was very comfortable. "This would have been a perfect place to stay in Jo-burg, except my a/c didn't work, even just the blower. All I needed is was circulating air, so I had to leave the window open on a weekend, when every knucklehead with a low-resistance muffler on a 1.5L engine had to impress us with his mediocrity. (Noisy engines if you're not into the performance stuff.) Didn't sleep well until after 0300."

"I would never wish anyone the experience we had in this placê. It should never be called lodge for backpackers or whatever.. we have never been in a such a placê like this.. despite being in backpackers places in many other countries. Even if it was for free it would be expensive. I had I huge problem because I didn’t have a local sim, and without calling the staff you can’t enter their property as the intercom doesn’t work and once the staff let you in, they are nowhere to be found unless you call them on phone again. Upon arrival, we noticed a musty smell in the sofa or throw rug, despite spraying with Lysol. Additionally, the walls and ceiling showed signs of cracks.
