"Mold around the bathtub, cockroaches, spiders and moths in room, main TV did not work, missing light bulbs/various different light bulbs, asked them to change and also install where missing. Pool was dirty, debris in pool and a chair, mattress was very hard and uncomfortable, the safe did not work, offered us a free breakfast due to the cockroach issue. Staff was the only good thing. Definitely needs refurbishing."

We were 2 couples that paid a week in advance through Hotels.com, confirmation was emailed and I phoned 3 times to confirm because we were going to arrive a bit earlier because we have a wedding close by. When we arrived they did not want to give us our room keys because they said they did not receive payment. "The guests received the wrong room type on check-in... where they were placed on the 2nd floor that's all smoking rooms, while a non-smoking room was booked & requested?! Personally, I can't imagine that while in SA one is not allowed to smoke inside buildings any longer, that it is still even allowed to smoke inside hotel rooms as being seen as public places - awful!"
