Lovely country pub. The room was nice, but the very low ceilings were always a concern. The food was solid pub fare. Having No bitter was an unexpected disappointment in a pub in that location though. Plus the bath in the room was lovely, but would not have suited less able types and there was no shower.

Lovely place to stay. Staff friendly, polite and welcoming. We booked two rooms- both beautifully decorated, clean and very comfortable. Excellent food and good variety of drinks available. Will stay again.

Lovely looking property but there it stops| From young people sleeping in a booth beside the bar eating KFC,to overpriced food and drinks .What a waste of a lovely building with no Management obvious and no wonder it is on the market...

We stayed for two nights while we were at Silverstone, the staff were lovely from beginning to end. Dinner and breakfast were stunning, I read some reviews criticising the staff during meals but I couldn’t fault them. We would definitely return if we were in the area

Nice hotel, lovely room. The food was nice but the service was unacceptable slow even for a simple desert. We waited almost forty minutes for a cooked breakfast.

Our stay was lovely. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The atmosphere and decor of the hotel was relaxed and interesting. We enjoyed watching the food being prepared and the funny banter going between chef and staff. The quality of the food and wine was of a high standard . We would have liked to stay another night if we could. Only disappointment was that the bedside lights didn’t work and the bedroom above the kitchen area is noisy. But we still loved it.

Excellent stay. Room was great,comfy bed, bathroom was large with lovely deep roll top bath. Easy check in, friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was superb with great choice of hot or cold, plenty of fresh juice and lovely coffee!
