"Nice size hotel but on a very narrow plot. The beds on the beach were about six rows deep and the ones around the pool were four deep. The sun beds were good but the umbrellas were too small to supply enough shade and you couldn’t move them. Breakfast was good although coffee from the machines was average. "Great location from the beach, and numerous pools, approx. 10 min walk to the high street with shops and many restaurants, great family rooms and nice selection for breakfast buffet. Had lunch a few times and kids eat free when there are paying adults, a nice touch. "

Thus last day I leave fir a dive trip and they are storing my luggage after helping me to look fir my sunglasses… which they laughed with me when I realized they were under my shirt. "We stayed at this resort in the first week of January. The resort is very well kept and clean. There are a couple of pools, the adult one which was extremely quiet, and there was another that families can go to. Both are lovely. There's a snack bar that has the most delicious mango smoothies! On our last night, we ate at the hotel restaurant and had both fantastic food and service. We highly recommend this hotel. "

"We had a fantastic stay at Khao Lak Laguna Resort. The rooms were excellent, and we stayed in very high-end bungalows just a minute's walk from the beach. The breakfast buffet, included in our room, was great and offered a variety of delicious options. The resort's location is ideal, with just a five-minute walk to town where it's easy to catch a "song thaew" (taxi) to nearby sites. While the stretch along the main road in Khao Lak isn't very nice, staying down on the beach made all the difference. The beach area is perfect for relaxation, and there are countless great diving options nearby. The resort features two nice pools right by the beach, and they offer free boogie boards for ocean fun. Although the immediate beach area isn't the nicest, a short five-minute walk takes you to a much nicer stretch of beach. They also have free bikes available, and I recommend using the mountain bikes as the locks on the more leisurely bikes can get stuck easily. The service from the front desk and restaurant staff was excellent, making our stay even more enjoyable."
