"This place was really nice. There’s a great view that is only open to gas of the property. It is conveniently located near the volcanic park as well as tours for Tubing and swimming in the river. The host Elias was very accommodating and he was understanding of our trip, timing and tour timings and make sure we could shower after we return from the hike. "No daily room service. Have to request the WiFi code but overall we would definitely stay again. Loved the seculedness of each room. Maybe add a second set of stairs to the hot tub. Beautiful rooms and beautiful property. "

"This was our first night in Costa Rica. We picked to stay here to split the drive to la fortuna and to be able to stop at Rio Celeste. It’s close to Rio Celeste. The town itself seems abanded. The owner of this property is very sweet. The area is loud, close to the road and constantly hearing traffic. The cabin type room has a large portable fan which was great. Shower works well. Good stay for 1 night. "

"You can't get any closer to the hike for Rio Celeste and it is so much better tonight hike first thing in the morning before it gets too crowded and the animals are all still out! This place was so charming and simple. The staff are beyond hospitable and it feels like you are a guest of a family. The restaurant on site is very good and open until 8pm. "This was an absolutely wonderful day, wish we could have had more time, but our 3 nights there were stellar. The property is up in the hills, and overlooks the Arenal volcano. Spectacular views from the main lobby and even from our rooms! There are multiple hot springs and pools on site, in 3 different groupings, and all were situated beautiful with food options and bathrooms and towel stations nearby. Delicious food, including sushi and Italian options. The drinks were delicious, especially from one bartender named Paola who also went above and beyond to take care of us. We ran into her every day and her wit and positive attitude were just wonderful. And lastly, the spa is small but stunning, i had a great massage and scrub which were both super relaxing. Highly recommend! "

Amazing experience for half the price of resorts

"This place was INCREDIBLE. The views were stunning and there is a 15 minute walking trail that makes you feel like youre in the middle of the jungle. Staff was very friendly and the food at the restaurant delicious. The mineral pools were only have full but it was nice and were included in the stay. Id skip the more expensive resorts and go here for a quaint but still top teir cabin lodging experience. "

"This is more rustic than newer hotels in the area, but it makes up for it by larger than normal rooms with a desk, a large refrigerator, a water closet in addition to a bathroom with a double vanity and large walk-in shower. The price includes a full breakfast from 7 am - 9 am. There is a restaurant on-site but during my stay, it was only open the first night of my stay, Sunday evening. But I did get a delicious salad and cocktail delivered to my room that night. I was disappointed on the nights it was closed because I already had choices picked out. But there are restaurants that are close, even walkable, so that helped. I would definitely stay here again."
