I stayed at this hotel with my wife and encountered a very disappointing situation during our stay. While waiting for the elevator, a woman entered ahead of us, despite us clearly being in line first. When I mentioned this, she replied that we “wouldn’t fit” in the elevator. I explained that we had been waiting and, if the elevator was full, she should wait for the next one.
To our surprise, she claimed to be the owner of the hotel. I was shocked that someone in that position would speak to guests in that way. I simply asked how a hotel owner could behave like that and went to my room.
This experience left us feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. I hope the management takes guest service more seriously moving forward.
