Tastefully designed and furnished. An oasis just far away from the hustle of the city ( you can still hear the horns but softly). The walk to and from the hotel is a mini hike it is located on a hill and if your room is on the upper floors, add another mini hike as there is no elevator. And the view is fabulous - especially as the sun goes down. The dining is 5star and so are the prices. All in all a great place to stay ( if you are fit)

As I wrote last year in my first review of Hotel Mulberry, we again experienced clean rooms, excellent service from all staff, a quiet environment, and good food. The location excellent, within walking distance of tourist shops, local markets, and several interesting destinations. I travel to Nepal twice per year and plan to use Hotel Mulberry exclusively.

Because of the snowstorm in Seoul I was unable to get to Kathmandu. Through expedia I cancelled day to day depending on the situation in Korea. I paid an extra $10 per day to cancel on short notice. I am pretty sure that at least the last three cancelled days were covered. My understanding is that expedia was unsuccessful in speaking with the hotel management or was unsuccessful in doing so. I feel ripped off.

I booked the Mulberry based on the good reviews, but was skeptical because the price was so much lower than the name-brand hotel I was going to stay at. I certainly made the right decision. We stayed in the Presidential Suite, which had a huge bedroom, huge living room, huge balcony and two bathrooms. Service was impeccable all around.

I didnt get in my flight and had an unexpected night stay in Kathmandu. The hotel i had been in was fully booked. This was a really lovely hotel. The staff were excellent, friendly, and helpful. The only thing even slighly lacking was the breakfast. The food was a 3.5- 4 out of 5. Overall, excellent stay.

A very comfortable stay
We stayed a couple of nights as a treat after our trek. This is a lovely hotel with suite sized rooms and very modern and clean. Breakfast was a good spread with lots of fresh choices. Bed was comfortable and the staff very welcoming and professional.

Our room was beautiful and spacious. It was quiet in the evening, but had a lot of nighttime action if you chose it in the rooftop bar and pool area. I also enjoyed a massage from the hotel that was fabulous.

This is such a good hotel, and I had a great stay here. It is a high end "western style" hotel, in a quiet location despite being in Thamel, as it's at the end of a cul-de-sac. It is very conveniently located for shops and restaurants. The staff are really friendly and efficient. I enjoyed some excellent food in the restaurant and in the bar on the eighth floor which has a great view over Kathmandu. My room had a little balcony which was perfect for reading and relaxing. The room itself was very comfortable with air con, kettle, small fridge, tv and there was even a collapsible washing line in the shower. They had thought of everything to make my stay comfortable. After a hot day of sightseeing it was so nice to return here. I was lucky enough to be there in the "rainy" season, so it was fairly quiet and I liked this too!

The Hotel Mulberry was perfect for a stay. The staff were friendly, professional and nothing was too much trouble. Housekeeping did an amazing job and sometimes we would find our towels had been changed twice in a day. The food was brilliant, we didn’t have anything that we did not enjoy. Really liked the infinity pool at the top of the hotel. The Spa was great we had several different treatments. Great place to be based in Kathmandu.

Mulberry hotel is a modern, beautiful, well built and well maintained hotel in the middle of town but also quiet location. It is easily accessible to most important attractions and shops. There are several restaurants close by. The rooms are spacious, well equipped and extremely comfortable. Breakfast is excellent. There is a fantastic roof top swimming pool and bar with great facilities and views of the city. The staff are very pleasant and courteous. My wife and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and will stay there again if we are in Kathmandu.

Comfortable and spacious
The rooms at Mulberry are very comfortable and quite spacious. The staff are also lovely and helpful. The rooftop has a nice view of Kathmandu and has a gorgeous infinity pool. The hotel is very close to souvenirs in Thamel so do go out and explore! Thank you so much for making our stay so comfy. We would definitely come back here when in Kathmandu next!
