"Hostel was amazing but the fact I had to walk around everytime I left the hostel a hour and a half because the entrance closer to the place was closed by police and they made us walk round really ruined my stay because everytime I had to do this trip it. Took 1 hour 30 mins and imagine I just want to get my jacket and this makes me not want to go back out. I go out and come back 4 times that’s 6 hours traveling just to get in your place of stay "

"Location, floating on the Danube River, was fantastic. Wonderful views from our room facing the river. Fantastic views from top deck. Hungarian Parliament lit up at night was my favourite. Loved the breakfast with lots of variety. All staff very helpful. Only downside was the rooms are in need of a bit of tlc but was an awesome experience and would definitely stay again. "

"I stayed at West side garden apartments which is a 7 floor brand new building. The apartment was big and cozy with a balcony and a fully equipped kitchen. There was also a washing machine and a dryer and the toilet is at a separate room from the bathroom. It’s is well located, quiet and safe area with some choices for breakfast and a 24h grocery shop. I will definitely choose it again when I return to Budapest "

"Almost all was good. Only negatives are: phone base in room is flimsy. Needs to be fixed to the table. Lighting at toilet mirror very poor. Can hardly see face when shaving. Needs shaving mirror. Sauna is excellent but requiring bathing suits is not hygienic. This should be nude or optional"

"Excellent they couldn’t do enough for me. Receptionist (Marci and Sandor) were very friendly. The room was spacious and was well heated (outside was cold). The shower had good pressure and had L’Occitan shower gel and shampoo. The bathroom was modern with nice features. The breakfast was plentiful with cold cuts and hot food options available such as eggs benedict, scrambled eggs etc. Overall had an amazing stay and I’d have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. "Wonderful friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable rooms with everything we needed from coffee to water to mini bar. Room was also lovely and warm. Could do with a mirror (not in bathroom area ) so that someone can put on makeup while someone else is in bathroom. Location is great, lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. Can walk to all central locations. We would definitely stay here again "
