"We stayed one night at the Hotel Pommernland having flown in to the nearby Anklam airfield. As it was the Ascention weekend there were no taxis available so the hotel manager Eric kindly gave us a lift into town to a greek restaurant. Hotel was clean and tidy and the rooms were absolutely fine. My only criticism is that there was only 1 feather pillow supplied which was way too soft, my head sunk straight through it. Breakfast was OK."

"This medieval castle is owned and operated by a private family who do a marvelous job of getting every thing just right. I was quiet overwhelmed by the ambience which is why I added 2 more nights on to the original booking of 4 nights. Also they brew their own beer which I found very good. Da wir nur 2 Nächte da waren, für uns nicht relevant. Die Möbel sind in gutem Zustand. Der abgesperrte hoteleigene Parkplatz ist Gold wert. Zur Promenade bzw zum Strand ist es nicht, ein paar Gehminuten. Auch Supermarkt und Bushaltestelle ist es nur einen Steinwurf. "

"Very friendly staff, amazing location on canal. Room was large and very comfortable. Restaurant is excellent. Had dinner there two evenings and tried five different dishes - all delicious. Some of the best food we've had in Germany. Lots of nice walking paths - along the canal, beach area, to local ruins of a monastery. You can reach the innercity of Greifswald by bus - about 25 minutes away."

Es geht bei den Hauslatschen los, bei Sekt und Kaviar weiter und den Laptop auf dem Zimmer gibt es auch nicht mehr ( ist wohl dem Diebstahl geschuldet ) aber mit der App war nicht viel anzufangen ,die Infos waren sehr spärlich. "It is a lovely hotel located outside the city. We especially enjoyed dinner in the restaurant where we had authentic German food. Our only concern was that it was hot outside and the room did not have air conditioning. We opened the windows and there was a beautiful breeze, but the flies kept coming in! "Very friendly staff and good location for a quiet few days on the coast. Quite basic hotel and rooms are OK. We had 3 beds in a separate bedroom but only 2 chairs in the lounge area. Breakfast is good with a nice variety of regular breakfast food. The restaurant is simple and prices fine. The real selling point is the location and the beach is only 5 minutes walk away, but the walk back to the hotel is steep. Overall for a couple of days it is fine. "
