"Amazing location and good value. The room had everything I needed and was solid but small. Good shower and comfortable bed. The staff was friendly and helpful - made restaurant reservations, booked taxis and were overall pleasant. Only negatives: no ambient sound and sadly, the room was totally clean when I checked in BUT there was some old pee on the toilet seat. I let the front desk know and they offered to switch my room but I had already started to unpack so they sent housecleaning...

"An enjoyable apartment in the heart of karikoy, the best neighborhood for a tourist in Istanbul. Apartment was spacious and clean. However, it lacks storage, especially for longer stays, doesn’t come with much in way of supplies. couch was damaged and stained, and AC needed repair. The biggest drawback is that it is right next to a mosque, and you will be woken up every morning by the muzzein. That being said, I can still recommend the place overall."

Both pillows were very hard and inflexible and not very comfortable to sleep on. The shower door would open only half way. Front desk was notified and they alerted their handy man to fix it.
