"Positives 1.Extremely comfortable beds, we slept so well. 2.The water pressure in the shower was super strong. Wonderful shower. 3. Location is perfect. 4. Lovely patio area overlooking the library. 5. Wonderful service from reception. Negatives- breakfast I was so surprised how poor the breakfast was and this is something that could be remedied easily. The coffee was too weak (almost transparent). First morning i ordered the eggs and almost cried when i saw the quantity of food on the plate....

"This was our second stay at the Marion. It's like spending the night at the museum. You can read the history of the original owner if you spend a few minutes at the waterfront Chinese Heritage Museum. The hotel is very close to bars and restaurants on Carpenter St. that can be noisy on occasion. We have stayed in the Chapel wing both stays and we're not bothered by street noise. "Close neighbouring area aren't attractive at all but it is very close to Masjid Kuching. very convenient for muslims. Kuching Waterfront and a shopping mall are at walking distance. Room was comfortable enough for stay with fox movie channel to entertain you. breakfast variety not that much but they tasted good. enjoyed my breakfast. the only thing that dissapointed me was poor wifi signal inside the room."
