Potential is there
This hotel has a lot of potential but you should know that it’s being renovated right now until January 2025. So no access to the pool. Although they have an arrangement to access the pool of another hotel, it’s a bit far and the pool is kind of indoor. The food and beverage are very expansive for Malaysia. The breakfast especially and it’s not worth the price. The rooms also need to be refreshed. Location is ok but up a little hill from the main area near the river.

Poor maintainence and dirty rooms had to call for help over five times for various issues and was moved between rooms due to shower failure and air-conditioning failure.

The hotel was in a good location and the room was good and good value. Unfortunately the room was a twin and I’d requested a double, it took 24hours to be changed. The dinning room was quite dirty and needs a full refurbishment. In general the hotel is soulless and lacks any comfort or ambience, vast areas of open space and the bar area that resembles an office.

The hotel service is good but very disappointed with Expedia service of notification.. Pullman started renovation on 1 Aug 2024 but we were notified only one day before our flight .. this is ridiculous… we felt cheated by Expedia..

This hotel offers clean room with great views. However, the towels are too old and not white. The breakfast we had at 6am were cold and waiting to be warmed up. Other than that, it is a good hotel to stay with great price.

We had two stays in April at the Pullman. A comfortable room, good cocktail hour and a great position near the river and city centre. The staff in the lounge (Michelle and Irene) were an absolute pleasure. We enjoyed speaking with them every evening.
