"A charming, nostalgic luxury hotel ideally located in the heart of Georgetown, Penang, just a short walk from the old town, where you can enjoy sightseeing, shopping, exploring historic buildings, and savoring delicious local cuisine. The location is excellent, with a 24-hour self-service laundromat just a 3-minute walk away. The hotel is clean, quiet, and well-equipped with all the essential amenities. Its lobby features an engaging display that shares the rich history of both the hotel and Georgetown. Our family of four (2 adults and 2 kids) stayed in a family room with two queen beds, which felt very spacious and comfortable. The only downside was the hot and humid late June weather, walking outside in the afternoon for even 10 minutes was nearly unbearable. We enjoyed staying at the hotel and will definitely rebook it next time."

The rooms are very generously sized and well equipped for a comfortable stay. The staff were exceptional, making us feel very welcome and promptly dealing with every request for advice and assistance. After nine thoroughly enjoyable days spent with Muntri Grove as my Penang base I couldn't be more pleased with my choice of accommodation."
