"A nice newer hotel in downtown Kumamoto. It’s right on top of the Sakuramachi mall and the bus terminal, a very convenient location. Rooms are small but clean and comfortable. However, the lobby is on the 14th floor and there is no concierge or bellboy on the main entrance (which is actually on the second floor of the parking of the mall) and no signs outside on the streets, so it’s rather confusing for people driving using GPS to look for the hotel (it just tells you you have arrived on the...

"The check-in process was so fast! And the hotel has so many great amenities! The room was very roomy, clean, and comfortable! "

"Kumamoto castle is just in front of the hotel. It’s a stunning icon but you can see the scares that that the earthquake destroyed. The hotel is 10-15 mins from midtown and quieter. I was a solo traveler but was lucky enough since they gave me a twin bedroom which is spacious for me. The downside was accessing to the laundry where people need to walk in front of the reception. Also, if you expect western breakfast, it’s a bit limited. Overall, I had a good experience with such professional staff...
