"Gorgeous property, very clean, wonderful hospitality"

"The hotel was very luxurious and comfortable. I loved the hot tub and the fact that the tv can swing to face the hot tub. Overall I rate this stay for couples a 10/10. The only issue I had was the cleanliness of the room. There was dust accumulation in the corners and some of the silverware was not clean. In general I would rate it a 9.8/10 it’s a great get away spot for couples. "

"This was a stay "back in time". Most importantly, it was clean and quiet. Our grandparents had homes like our room and we are now grandparents, so it was awhile ago. So, it was very nostalgic for us, but we felt unsafe in the bathroom. The shower curtains were in the bottom of the tub and would have been easy to trip up on. "The ONLY complaint I would have and was a surprise to us was that you unload your car and then park your vehicle back down the hill and then have to take a shuttle back to your car. You can’t just walk out and get in your car. The shuttle was quick don’t get me wrong but it was a little bit of a hassle. "Just the perfect getaway. The staff was exceptional. Our dinner at the restaurant was delicious and service was above expectations. The only reason I gave the grounds a 4 was it was only 5 weeks after the hurricane and they were doing some remodeling but I lay no blame on the resort. The road to the resort was under repair but they are doing a great job of cleaning up and getting back to business. I highly recommend. "
