"This place was straight out of the 1970's, you even fill out a Guest Registration CARD, yes, that's right, an actual card that you write on with a pen. I haven't done that in tbe US for over 30 years. :) This place is super retro, a blast from the past, the staff was super friendly and the bed was comfy, the place could have been cleaner but it was okay. If you want to experience an old school motel, this is the place. :)"

"We stayed in a 2 bed, 2 bath town home at the top of Sugar mountain. The views were breath taking! The place itself was very spacious. It could do with some remodeling in the kitchen and throughout the apartment but was really not a big deal for us. The ladies working the office were very friendly and accommodating! "The ONLY complaint I would have and was a surprise to us was that you unload your car and then park your vehicle back down the hill and then have to take a shuttle back to your car. "This was a stay "back in time". Most importantly, it was clean and quiet. Our grandparents had homes like our room and we are now grandparents, so it was awhile ago. "Just the perfect getaway. The staff was exceptional. Our dinner at the restaurant was delicious and service was above expectations. The only reason I gave the grounds a 4 was it was only 5 weeks after the hurricane and they were doing some remodeling but I lay no blame on the resort. The road to the resort was under repair but they are doing a great job of cleaning up and getting back to business. I highly recommend. "

"We have stayed in lots of B&Bs, but this lodge is the most beautiful we have ever seen. It is hard to describe how amazing it is and everything was just perfect. We loved staying here. The manager, Bobbie, was just so wonderful and we enjoyed talking with her, and her recommendations for places to visit were great. We felt at home here, and would very highly recommend staying here. "Loved the stay, awesome property. This is a Residential/Rental property so it does have an HOA. I only mention that because the rental parking is below the gate entrance. They have HOA parking that is attached to building. You will have to take a shuttle from the rental parking and depending on temperature/time. You might get chilly. Besides the shuttle situation this was an awesome stay. Great location and staff is very friendly!"

"The property was beautiful and well maintained. Our cabin was cozy and inviting. Our only comfort complaint was the pillows (very flat!) and mattress (a bit hard!). But the views were gorgeous, the horses and goats loved visitors and dinner at the Inn was a treat. Make sure to grab a cocktail at the on-site cocktail bar! We will surely visit again!"
