"Very good especially for the price paid. The bed was very very firm and not to my liking. Hence the 3 star comfort rating; everything else was great. You are renting an apartment in a large building so many residents as well as some visitors. The facilities were nice and not really populated. Being Australian we spend a lot of time outside and swimming so the kids love the kids rooms, playground and pools and we had everything to ourselves. "Room was clean and comfortable. My kids love the swing and slide. Pool and playground on level 6 was great too. The washer dryer was a plus as we could wash and dry our swimwear. Will definitely book again."

"Homestay is spacious and provides items such as utensils, toiletries etc. Check-in was slightly troublesome since it has to be done at a hotel 5-mins drive away. Toilets were slightly dirty when we arrived (checked in at 9pm), with the floor being super wet, toilet unflushed and bathroom mat having coloured spots. Overall the stay was decent for the price, but it would be great if the cleanliness was better-maintained."

"We had an excellent stay. The apartment is very nice, clean to the extent of being immaculate, high quality fittings throughout, washing machine, cooking facilities. The apartment complex is amazing, super gym, upper level enclosed walking area and a large pool. Well situated for access to local attractions and shops, including a a supermarket in the mall below. "2 days before my stay, i had reached out to the apartment via Expedia and directly - to request for early check-in as i was coming in to JB in the morning. However there were no response from them at all (despite the info provided is to request at least 24 hours in advance). "Communications was a nightmare. We had to work through what was probably a managing agent whose communications was intermittent. Check-in was late (I understand that there was probably a lack of cleaning personnel); with little updates. Facilities at the condo was very good, but the condos themselves were small, under-maintained and the 3 room apartment included a converted study area with no door posing as one of the bedrooms. "

"Good for big families as there are four bedrooms. Note that only two rooms come with attached bathroom. A third bathroom for common use and a fourth bathroom behind kitchen and is too small to shower in. Location is convenient as just at KSL mall. However, getting in and out of apartment is inconvenient as we only had one access card when there are 10 of us. Need to pay deposit one day before stay and it is contactless check in or out."

"Excellent stay at R&F TrexHomestay, the apartment was clean, spacious and comfortable. Communication with the host was seamless and accommodating to late check-in request. The apartment is located close to the checkpoint, and there are plenty of F&B options inside the R&F mall."

"Very expensive for one night.the amenities is disappointed as we expect more. Don’t have wifi, the water pipe came out very slow and little. Not just that the house have a lot dust. The price for the homestay is not worth it for me to pay rm420 just for one night and for such price I expect more than that. Hopefully can get half refund for that."
