"The Hotel and staff was amazing and our room was perfect. The restaurant in the hotel is amazing from the amazing dinner to the great breakfast we had. Also shot out to our receptionists she was amazing even got my wife a small box of chocolates for her birthday sorry neither of us can remember her name was lots of travel for us 😊. We definitely recommend anyone looking for a great place stay here its very walkable to alot of things just go and enjoy."

"Staying in this hotel felt like we were royalty. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived three hours early but staff emailed us when it was ready, and they had already delivered our baggage to the room. Coffee was available in the room and the pillows and mattress were memory foam, so comfortable. The location is directly across the street feom the train station and in the middle of Old Town, where shopping and restaurants are located. This place is perfect!"

"This is an old building so yes, there will be creaky floors and ‘ambiance’ that some may not appreciate. We found the front desk staff to be very friendly and helpful. The view from our room (552) was out over the street towards Lake Lucerne. We had 3 windows, 2 of which were French doors opening into balconies. Easy walk to bakeries, local cheese shop, grocery, and many ‘best of Lucerne’ sites. Bus to the main train station was super easy. "

"The hotel is in a delightful location, we had a balcony room overlooking the old bridge. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was lovely. Access to the hotel with a car is not easy and parking at the train station is expensive. "

"As always wonderful. Have been coming here every year since I was 7 years old...first time was 1971...54 years and its always like coming home. Everyone asks why I don't stay nearer the lake..this is why. It's peaceful away from the bustle and it had the best view in Lucerne. "

"Facilities and hotel standard were excellent but I found some of the small things very disappointing. For almost £900 for two nights I found some of the penny pinching ridiculous. Welcome treats were not replaced (it was a small chocolate!) and the vanity set was repacked into cardboard case rather than replaced - it was opened to use the cotton buds. Excellent hotel but these little things were very disappointing."

"Very warm and friendly welcome. The hotel has a lovely lobby bar and overall a very nice place to stay for crashing overnight for example. Excellent location by the train station and parking also available for cars."
