"Nice water slide and pool. That’s it. The rooms are not well maintained. There was only a box spring and no mattress therefore the hardest bed I’ve ever slept on. The tub smelled bad. The screen door was falling off. Centipedes were inside the room. The light switch to lights was not working so we had to turn off the main switch, including AC in order turn out the lights at night. LOTTE City Hotel Mapo
10/10 Excellent
"Very expensive swimming pool at AUD $40 per visit. Did not even provide a towel."
"I stay at this hotel every time I visit Korea, and for good reason — I truly can’t find any flaws. The location is incredibly convenient, just a short walk from the subway station, making it easy to get anywhere. The hotel itself is in excellent condition, and most importantly, the staff are exceptionally kind and attentive.
The front desk team, in particular, made a lasting impression with their outstanding service mindset. After a long flight, their warm welcome and professionalism helped me relax and feel at ease. Thanks to them, I had a truly comfortable and pleasant stay once again."
"The front desk was super helpful. English was not a problem for them. When I needed extra blankets, they were delivered to the room in 5 minutes. The cleaning service was friendly and even though we asked for no service while we were staying, they still checked to se if we needed towels and toilet paper. The only minus was that the temperature of the hot tub was luke warm. But Koreans are very energy friendly.
At the end of our stay, they arranged a van for us to get to our hotel in Incheon. They also allowed us to check in early and held our luggage while we shopped. We will stay again next time we are in Seoul!"
"It was amazing! Great staff and always polite and ready to help. Unfortunately the air con wouldn’t really work and no one service but there’s a 7/11 and restaurants around the area and a cafe on second level. "
