"On arrival we were immediately upgraded to a sea view room. Location and beach are good. Nice room with great view and air conditioning which is a must. All staff were very friendly. The chef is excellent and we really enjoyed our evening meals I would like to add that the manager Kariem is a credit to the running of this hotel. "Because we were only stopping for 2 nights we weren't too particular as to the room so chose the cheapest option but in retrospect we should have picked one next to the pool. We were in an annexe a 20meters away and it was a small room, though it did provide an effective ac unit, tea and coffee facilities, hit shower, clean towels both days, mosquito net, and it was clean and well presented. "I do NOT recommend that hotel. Old style boxxy hotel from the 1980'. Super small bathroom and shower with a plastic curtain. For the toilet, you litterally stand in the shower : unacceptable. Ok it is clean and there is a small unattractive pool. It is worth no more than 50 €, a sort of ok 2 stars lodge. No Zanzibar dream at all. Breafast is ok. Hotel is situated in second line from the beautiful beach. There are much nicer hotels ON the beach. Without a car, you are trapped in an ugly back...
