"We were on the 10th floor looking toward Sakarajima Island. Wonderful view watching the ferrys come and go. Great breakfast and lunch buffet. Also, a high end Japanese restaurant. Lots of izakayas in walking distance. Ferry to the island is a 2000 yen cab ride. Comfortable beds spacious room."

"The parking was free but it was a long distance from the hotel. There was very limited parking near the hotel entrance and once you moved your car you had to park you had to park far away. The room was good and the location was great because of the convenience of shops across the street. "

"Room size is decent, I was able to lay my luggage out fully. Room is very clean, the bath needs a bit of extra cleaning. Very good price for solo travellers who needs their own space. "Toyoko Inn is conveniently located close to Kagoshimachuo Station - a major transportation and business center, therefore close to shopping and restaurants. The large Toyoko Inn sign on a building is a little misleading, as the Inn itself is next door, closer to the station. The only downside to some is that the facility is a little dated but very functional. "

"This hotel was convenient to the train station and fine for a short stay. The rooms have not been updated recently and the furniture and carpets show their age. The bathroom is tiny and two persons will have to take turns using it. However, the rooms are very clean, as is the lobby and reception area. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially with our inability to speak Japanese. "
