"Great place to stay in Irvine. Mostly a business hotel so quiet on the weekends. Fairly new and nice kitchenette in room. They offer a wonderful breakfast. They also have bikes to ride. Very accommodating all the way around."

"Very good experience overall. Except for one night when someone tried to break into my hotel room, it was a bit unsettling. The front desk called my room, asking if there was a suitcase left in there from the previous occupant. Of course there was none. Then there was a knock on the door from a couple who again tried to get into my room at almost midnight asking if there was a suitcase left in there. It startled me, and I assured them there was nothing in the room. If you left something in the room after you checked out, shouldn’t you have gone to the front desk to ask if there was an item that you left behind instead of coming up to the room you were in to try to get in? Overall, was a beautiful space and I enjoyed my stay. Except for that little hiccup, which was very interesting."

"I love staying at this particular La Quinta. The uniqueness of the rooms that were once grain silos is fascinating. Although it is fairly close to a busy freeway, you are not bothered with traffic noise. The interesting old buildings in the same parking lot are from a different era and are quite nice to explore. Adding a close by side trip to visit the Irvine estate home (now a public library) and grounds is worth the timevas well."
