"Picturesque location spoilt by unfinished major construction next door. Pool was very dirty, full of flies and wasps swarming around it. A simple clean up and lick of paint in places at minimal cost would make a huge difference to what felt like a very tired and neglected hotel. We chose not to stay over night and found an alternative hotel due to our disappointment with the pool and outside areas."

The owner/manager Sergi took care of us himself, since it was shoulder season and we had the hotel to ourselves, and his incredible Mama was the chef for one of our best meals in Italy -- or maybe anywhere.
