"Great location. We were advised in advance that the pool was in repair and we wouldn't be able to use it during our stay. Nice "globo cookies" offered on arrival at the room. Spacious room, overlooking the ocean, on the 10th floor, was a great treat. Although it wasn't the free upgrade perk from Expedia, the fee we had to pay for this upgrade was well worth it. We usually stay at this hotel and it doesn't disappoint. Breakfast is also good with a variety of fruits, breads, cakes. "

"Superb hotel in excellent location, right on Ipanema beach, great for relaxing on the balcony with a beer and watching Rio go by. There was a problem with noise caused by fans of a celebrity who was staying at the hotel; the hotel knew we had an issue with this and, although it was not their fault, the managers went above and beyond to keep us happy.
