"Very nice and convenient location. Walking distance to the Sensoji Temple, Sumida River, Ueno Park, Tokyo National Museum, and many interesting shopping streets. Really appreciate the washer/dryer after spending 10 days in Tokyo. Also thankful for the free coffee at reception. Staff were helpful. Do note that there are 2 Koko Hotel Residences in the area and initially we went to the wrong one at Asakusa Tawaramachi!"

"The rooms in Mimaru Tokyo Kinshicho is large by Japanese standards, the location is great as it is near to metro and rail. There's a 24 hour supermarket nearby as well. Highly recommended."

"Great value for your money. Near many stores and restaurants. Downside is it will still be a minimum 11 minutes walk to the train station. Also cleaning only available if you stay 7 days or longer. I love the place is so safe. We often go out around 2AM to go to the 24 hour stores nearby and no issues walking around the neighborhood. "

"We could not be happier with our stay. It was perfect for our family of 5. Amenities were help yourself in the lobby. A kind attendant was always there for any assistance which was much appreciated. We arrive earlier than our check in time and they were able to store our bags. We had three comfortable beds and two futon for the tatami room. The room was spacious and since the walls of the tatami room can close, it felt like a separate space. Bathroom and shower areas were clean and separate...

"Overall stay was great. Has hot water and pressure of the water was nice and strong. Ac was there and heater was there too. I would go back here again if going to Disneyland."

"The room was a good size for our family of 4 and we liked that the toilet, shower and sink were in separate spaces. Had a small kitchenette which was helpful. Staff was friendly and location was good. The only complaint was the washer/dryer combo didn’t work. Spent a lot of time waiting for the clothes not to dry…would not recommend using their laundry. "

"The pokemon theme room quite impressive although the snorlax pushy looks a bit dirty. The whole room is with pokemon design except the toilet. Around 10mins walk from station, no shelter. "

"The location is a bit far from the central tokyo but super accessible by jumping on a train or bus. The staff was very responsive and was able to provide a replacement water kettle. The hotel is close to a cemetery and temple. It is common in japan as the city is very crowded. Overall very spacious and clean."

"Had a great stay at this property. It is in walking distance to the business district as well as major sporting facilities and convention hall. Having two convenience stores in the hotel was also amazing. Had a very minor issue at first but the staff quickly resolved it. Highly recommended property. "

Richmond Hotel Premier Asakusa International

"This was our first time staying in Asakusa area booking with some initial hesitation. However, we found the location excellent with many options to dine, area was great, robust neighbourhood with stores (Uniqlo attached & Don Q a stones throw away), dining and amenities not to mention Senso-ji temple close by. The room was a little tight but very bright with large windows. The breakfast option was excellent (offering fresh squeezed OJ, a very good assortment of breakfast options). The hotel offers free refreshments (incl. beer, wine, whiskey and Sake) during the afternoon and evening hours. This was a welcome and surprising treat after a long day of walking. The bathroom was smaller but amenities offered (self-serve in reception) was plentiful (including facial masks!! and quality branded product beauty product (Pola). Electrical plugs in the room were North American. There were coin operated washer/dryer options on several floors which was an added bonus. We would definitely pack differently the next time we visit. Overall, would not hesitate to stay here again on our next visit to Tokyo. "

I do wish there was a bit more space in the area waiting for elevators on the main floor. It gets crowded when groups come in and block up the area, almost impossible for those getting off or on. There should be signs telling those waiting for elevators to allow those getting off at that floor to leave the elevator first, there were a few times some female foreign tourists would just barge in. They should understand the etiquette is the same as the public transit, help them get accustomed to the local culture, to allow people to get off first before barging in. Not a major deal, but can go along way to help. Overall great place to stay. Suited me perfectly."
