"Lovely clean spacious apartment. If I was nit-picking I would say that the kitchen cupboard doors are in need of a little bit of tlc but apart from that very good. The pool is lovely but a bit on the cold side for my liking but other people might think it was fine. The evening meal in the Restaurant was excellent & we would definitely eat there again. We are returning at Xmas & already looking forward to our next stay. "

"Nice caravan, situated close to all amenities, if you have stayed in a Haven Park before this caravan would be classed as a Bronze accommodation, to give you the comparison if you were to book your stay with Haven direct. Weather was great, park very busy with the weekend campers (tents) this area was packed, kids play park was a free for all, I would say too small for the amount of families staying onsite, wonder what the middle of summer holidays would be like when all caravans and camping...

"Lovely accommodation right in the heart of Kendal. Everything well thought out, and clean and cosy. May not want to visit with young children as some of the pictures on the wall were more adult orientated with no option to remove them for duration of stay."

"What a special place! It is a rural setting, some distance from town, so a car is recommended. To see the ocean out the window and on walks, along with cows, horses and chickens was such fun! The hosts are delightful and eager to help with anything we might have needed. We will definitely stay here again!"

"My wife, daughter and I stayed at The Wheatsheaf combining a work trip with some family time. We felt very well looked after at The Wheatsheaf; the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was a really good size for the three for us and we were all very comfortable. "It’s an old building, so the floor creaks. But it’s been well renovated. Nice little touches we especially like: big mugs, plenty of tea bags and milk sachets, good food in either a bustling family bar or a quiet restaurant, friendly efficient staff. "

"The Midland is a beautiful hotel in Morecambe overlooking Morecambe Bay. The hotel has lots of art deco features. The rooms are spacious and very tastefully decorated with lots of hidden items, the kettle and tea etc are to be found in a cupboard which blends in with the walls. The food was excellent. We had dinner and breakfast which had a brilliant choice. Full English or continental and yogurts and fruit etc . Everything was perfect. We will definitely return. "
