"We liked everything about the hotel with the exception that the hotel controls the Air conditioner so they turned off when I asked why because it was really hot in the room they said around this time of year they do that and we went in November so we had to sleep with balcony door opened. "Great hotel. Great attention to detail. Very accommodating. Not the best for kids due the limited options. But for a couple it will be excellent. I wish the Spa was included. "Very good all rounder. Food was not as good for early week and better later in the week for dinner. The doors to the balcony rattle at night, keeping people awake. "This hotel is a little gem, steeped in history and very central. The internal lounge area with it's palms and exotic plants is wonderful. I would recommend this hotel so long as you are not looking for luxury. There are lovely views from many rooms and the pool is good. Shame they don't offer tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. Fixtures and fittings are sadly just looking a bit tired."
