"We were sadly only here for one night, but our loft room was SO cool, we actually ended up ditching the large king bed below and slept on the twin beds up top to watch the northern lights through the skylights up there. There were really cute horses on the property too when you enter, which was a huge unexpected bonus! It was close enough to the city for us with our rental car, yet very quiet and peaceful set back right on the water. 10/10 would definitely stay here again!"

"The only reason I wouldn’t stay here again Parking. They have no parking for guest until after 9 pm and it cost you more than trying to park on the street. We had to constant run and feed a meter until we learned how to do it from our phone. Our last night there we had to park 1.7 miles away it was the only thing available .So at 3am we were dragging our luggage through the city so we could drive to the airport. "Beautiful hotel- the lobby/design is full of character and history. Room was clean and tastefully designed. Breakfast was plentiful and lovely. Though I didnt try it, the hotel also has a bar to enjoy. Great locatoon for exploring the main town. 15 mins walk from the marina, 15 mins walk from the iconic church and ‘rainbow road’. "

"Very nice and comfortable lobby. Very friendly and helpful staff at the reception, when we asked then to show us the directions to certain places we had to go, they were very helpful and were willing to show us from the map. We were given a room with a harbour view which was absolutely stunning. We didn't spend a lot of time in our room so I didn't mind the room was small, in fact I think it was a decent size unless you plan to spend more time in your room. The only one thing I would pick on is the shower room. The shower shelter doesn't do anything at all, the floor was all wet after the shower. We had to dry the floor with the towel afterwards otherwise it would be a bit uncomfortable to enter the shower room/ toilet again afterwards. We visited the Sky Bar on the 8th floor on our last night, we sat next to the window with a stunning view that we could see the harbour and the concert hall. Staff at the bar are very friendly. The location of this hotel is great too, we had a few activities which required us to meet up at the bus stop 5 (Harpa) which is just cross the road from the hotel, very convenient. Also, great distance from the city centre so not a problem at all walking between the hotel and the city centre. Our overall experience staying at this hotel was excellent."
