"Check-in was quick & easy. Free hot breakfast & heated pool are nice. Freeway noise is noticeable but it’s not an interstate. We ran the fan for white noise and slept fine. The plastic door jambs, yellowed faceplates, and highly textured walls & ceilings painted in semi-gloss cheapen the feel, but overall the hotel a good value considering the amenities, staff efficiency, and limited options in town. "

"This historic inn was incredible! Pet friendly and just a beautiful Victorian in. When you walk in, you can feel the history of this place. Walking the halls and stairs you feel like your in a time capsule. Everything was a site to behold. The tavern was great! Skilled bartender and awesome design. The cat art was avant garde but strangely cute in a very interesting way. Next time I'm in Humboldt county I'll be staying here."
