"Beautiful natural setting. Sweet people serving guests . Delicious breakfast. Some minor physical plant issues: The room door was difficult to get locked. The double bed was two twin beds pushed together. Also there were some loud functions on a neighboring property. But we would definitely go there again."

"We loved our stay at this fantastic hotel. The property is beautiful and calm and the staff is incredibly attentive and kind. They were hit hard by the flooding in October 2024, but they have done incredible work to repair the facilities. When we were there (early Nov 2024) the pool was open and only the garden next to the river was closed while they re-grow the turf. We are 2 adults 2 young kids and the 2-bedroom suite was perfect for us."

"I received a confirmation with check-in listed 2pm until noon. When I arrived there was no staff. I contacted the owner who refused me service despite the fact that I had already paid for the room. Left this foreign traveler out at 1am in a strange city after I had taken the time to book and confirm my reservation. He claimed he will return my money but I cannot believe that given unwillingness to deliver the service I paid for. "

"An oasis of tranquility away from the noise and busy environment of Chiang Mai. So many decorative native features. Wonderful breakfast with choices of fruits, breads and eggs cooked to order. Wonderful and kind staff, great service. Spacious rooms and very comfortable beds. A real “home” feel"

"This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The room is large and extremely comfortable. The hotel offers lots of amenities including air conditioning, and a large beautiful bathroom. They also have a mini-fridge which is free to use as well as complimentary drinks daily. The staff are super polite, friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel."

"I frequently go to Chiang Mai and Bed Changkian is where I stay. The rooms are spacious and well thought out. Water pressure is good and housekeeping daily. Beds are comfortable. Quiet floors so not a lot of noise, if at all at night. Airplanes do fly overhead but it’s infrequent and doesn’t bother me, easily tuned out. "The Hotel Mayu has become my go to property on my last three visits to Chiangmai. The convenience is the main reason, it’s in Nimman a walking distance to Mayu Mall and all the little stores and eateries within the Nimman area.
