"Hotel is clean and very well located for the station. Rooms are a good size. Pricing was competitive. But for 4 star status I'd expect more attention to detail. There should be bottled water in the rooms (this can be done sustainably), quality toiletries including body lotion (not from dispensers that barely work), better quality fresh ingredients at breakfast, some element of table service, key cards that worked on the lifts... added to which the extractor fan was constantly on and the bedroom...

"THE GOOD: very quiet, peaceful area. Bed, linens and pillows very comfortable. Very clean - cannot stress enough how clean this place is! Temperature control easy and ideal. Toiletries all smell lovely and are unisex. All remotely handled, but whenever called for assistance, the South African phone team were quick to answer and very helpful - nothing left unresolved. "Lovely friendly and kind staff throughout our stay. We chose a basic room which is what we had. It was a little tired but everything one needed was there. Our main complaint couldn’t be helped by the Hotel as it related to the noise outside of late night party revellers. We had a downstairs room right at the front of the Hotel. We stayed one night; if longer we would have considered asking to move.Food excellent."

"Great location and it was perfect for an overnight stay for my mums birthday. The beds were very comfy. We were just a bit disappointed with the cleanliness of the room - it stunk of smoke. We opened the windows and I sprayed my perfume (not ideal) but we couldn’t get rid of it. Hopefully just a blip as I’d stayed here before and it wasn’t an issue."
