"Amazing breakfast. Lovely setting and close to everything. There is a night club opposite which can be noisy at weekends. In both rooms there was a small problem which was reported to reception but I don’t expect to find such things. On arrival they wanted to put us in two rooms (booked together) four floors apart despite being asked by email to put us together. They did change it once I showed them the email. Other staff really friendly and helpful"

"Loved my short stay at the Clarion. So cozy and friendly and I was always welcomed back after a day of exploring the city. Catherine at the front desk had great suggestions which enhanced my stay in Bergen. Sitting in the lobby next to the fire in the big arm chairs, sipping some local aquavit helped me understand the concept of hygge. "

"Great location. Room was decent-sized and comfy. Good variety of food for breakfast. The one issue is that the coffee was beyond horrible. Either the beans are bad or the machines (both of them) need a serious clean."

"Well sized room and bathroom in a great location close to Bryggen and other points of interest. It was nice having windows we could actually open for some fresh air. Helpful staff and nice breakfast."

"Was a great spot for our one night in Bergen. A short tram ride from the middle of town and only a couple of minutes walk from the tram stop. Easy check in, large clean room, comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Would stay here again no problem."

"We had an absolutely delightful stay! Wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel is beautiful with a great lobby full of nooks and crannies for all to be comfy and cozy. There were nice games. The room was comfortable and clean although small for a “family room.” The staff were very helpful! Love this style of hotel!"

"There is a seating area and community refrigerator where you can also buy a coffee from a machine. The property has recycling bins as well. The property is a little sterile and very tech forward. It is close to the train/bus station and roughly a fifteen-minute walk to the Old Town. Expedia sent the wrong codes for check-in but not a major issue as staff provided the correct digits. (There are no letters in the check-in code)"

"Very well located for a nice vacation. Rooms are small but comfortable, bathroom clean and easy to use. Included breakfast is very well served with plenty and divers euro style food. Staff is very helpful and friendly."

"Great location. Great breakfast. Staff friendly. Rooms big, but drains a bit smelly. The part of the hotel across the road from the main hotel feels a bit tired / dated, but the room are big. It can be a bit noisy at night if you are in a room facing the Hakonsgaten road, but still had a great time. "
