"Pub good. Staff good. Food good. No lemon or lime available for G&T but 'beer good' too. Room was not good. It has clearly been very nice but it isn't any more. The facilities are OK, but the room and the shower room both now really need a good 'deep clean' to reach acceptable standards. The visitors book shows comments from 2023 and 2024 that have not been addressed - 'noisy fan in bathroom' is still noisy, 'chipped paint doesn't look nice neither does bathroom damp on walls', there's ...

"The hotel is about half a mile or so off the coast and it's nestled in its own grounds across the road from some nice public paths with beach access. The hotel is in lovely shape, and been decorated very tastefully throughout. Our large bed was very comfortable, and the room's client controls were easy to use. We had a nice shower, but if I booked again and had the option of a room with a full bath, I'd request it. Bar, Orangery and Dining Room had high standards, and a good selection...
