"Hotel is nice and breakfast is satisfactory. Hotel has no Air conditioning, but lucky for me, it spring time when I checked in. I will skip this hotel during summer months. Also, avoid room 202- I think it's the only room with a window that opens widely. The rest of the hotel rooms has upper window part that tilts about 5 inches outward allowing air to get in- not intruder."

"Very clean, safe, modern and a great location for Kiel or the ferry. Parking was easy using the Q Park. Would definitely recommend and come again. We used the hotel for breakfast sometimes but there are lots of places in walking distance round the water too. Perfect for a family or couples. Staff are very friendly and helpful"

"Beautiful, old-school grand hotel vibes. But in the best of ways. Extensive nautical theme, with great regional history. Large, well-appointed rooms. Water-side rooms on upper levels have a stunning view of the canal. Restaurant was very good. Bar/lounge has booked shows, so check in advance and buy tickets if you're interested. Very reasonable on-site parking, but there was always available street parking as well. "

"The property has an excellent location, very close to the beach. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the heated bathroom floors were an unexpected delight. There were however several families with children that made quite a bit of noise. The rooms are close together so it is difficult to prevent this. "Friendly hotel but rather sloppy room service with cleaner leaving her own drinnk in our room for two days before I had to ask for it to be removed. Unwilling to accomodate breakfast earlier than 8am on Saturday but found that this could be done when another (and clearly more important )guest asked. Reasonable kitchen but rather overpriced. Everything was extra including bottled water in room but no tea/coffee making facilties"
