"Spent 11 Nights in Feb 2025. 3 groups of families visiting from Canada. The bedrooms are huge and kitchen facilities are more than adequate. Very clean and safe. Reception was always willing to accommodate and were very friendly. We had a rental van but Avondale railway station is just steps away. Would definitely stay again. "

"Good location, close to all the stonefield shops. We had the 2 bedroom family room which was very spacious and was perfect for what we needed. Staff was friendly and easy to deal with. Added a Portacot for $25. Lots of parking and the property was quiet. during the day there’s some noise from the building going up next door but overall very happy"

"There definitely needs to be double glazing. Being awoken by the neighbour's dog was not welcomed. Had a fantastic sleep otherwise, bed and room was comfortable. "

"We liked Alexander Inn/the Newmarket area so much we cancelled our stay in the city center to stay here. They were very accommodating, storing our luggage and allowing us to leave our car in their garage after checkout while we went to get breakfast. Everyone was very kind, the rooms were nice, we LOVED all of their little plants, and there was lots of great things to do within walking distance. If I come back to Auckland, I'll be staying here again."
