"The car park attached to the hotel is owned by another company. It is very very confusing as the website says £12.50 for 24 hours but when we paid £12.50 at 12.40 pm it says it was valid till 4.50 pm. A sign said something about redeeming your ticket at reception. "A nice hotel near the centre of Newcastle. The outside and lobby has kept it's heritage style, however the rest of the hotel has been updated. The room was very large and very modern. "Stayed here a few times. Good atmosphere, friendly staff, great location. Had an issue with the TV not working on our last stay, apparently this is an issue across the hotel so would not recommend if a TV is a must for you. "Another lovely stay at Slaley Hall. I always feel relaxed when I stay and love a walk around the grounds. The room was big and comfortable although parts were showing their age, like the door into the bathroom and wooden wardrobes, however, this really did not detract from a lovely night away.
