Our Te Mata room was quiet and clean. Having the kitchenette was convenient, allowing us to cook some meals and save money on eating out. The room was always clean and the staff friendly and most helpful.

Super clean, very friendly and very central location. However definitely an older style motel, rather than what I would call a lodge (ie extra facilities, views or ambience). Giant spa bath in the main bedroom felt like an 80's throwback....

We received a very warm welcome on arrival. Every single thing is beautifully set up in the room. Facilities are fantastic even has an espresso machine and a coffee Plunger. We enjoyed our stay very much. Highly recommend it to anyone who is thinking of visiting the region.

Wonderful stay at Te Mata Lodge

Fabulous stay here, A very warm welcome and early check in, very helpful. Room was spacious and clean, very comfortable bed, had everything we needed in our 7 night stay. Just a skip to the shops for dinner or lunch.. felt safe at all times.
