"I enjoyed my stay at the placencia... there was some confusion on my part since the hotel changed management. My partner problem is the issue with the hot water. We expected it to come on after a while however it did not. I like that there is a security guard and when we come in late from tours but they double checked that we live at the resort. I love the pier and the staff were friendly answering all our questions. Thank you for a great stay. "

"We loved our stay at Mariposa. It was extremely comfortable--comfy beds and pillows! Everyone was very helpful and nice - great hospitality. The treehouses are beautiful and private. All of our drinks and food were good. There's a nice beach with loungers, chairs, umbrellas and food/beverage service. "

"The rooms at Brisa were very clean. The staff was very nice and answered any questions we had. I was curious why we were given an upstairs room (my mother is 75) when there were few people staying at the hotel and the other was available directly below us. My only complaint was about the distance of the hotel from the water. It's no short walk down to the beach, compared to other properties. "

"The listing for this property was incorrect. What we thought we were getting was 3 queen beds with 2 bathrooms. Instead, we got 2 adjoining units that had 1 queen bed each, a pull-out sofa, & 3 bathrooms. Each unit had its own kitchen. When we arrived, the door between our rooms was locked so we had to go out to the porch & into the other unit to be with our friends. "It’s the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It’s new and wonderfully maintained. All staff was super attentive and helpful. They took care of us so well: taxi rides. excursions and everything we needed we got from the personnel of the hotel. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, huge bathrooms and balcony. The beach is so nice and private. We miss the Ellysian Boutique already and can’t wait be back one day"
