"The hosts were friendly and helpful. The bedroom was extremely comfortable . I loved the large selection of books and the tasteful decorations. The bed had crisp white sheets. "Bathroom shower tiles could do with more attention to cleaning. Otherwise, pleasant stay and welcoming staff and owners. The room we stayed in was at the back of the property and and you could hear downstairs occupants early early AM which did disturb our sleep. However, the B&B was a pleasent stay Its located within a 20 min walk to the Old Town and central shopping areas. 5 mins walk from the pier. Local.corner shops too. "

"The hosts - Karen & Malcolm were so hospitable & helpful. The Laindons Guest House is situated in an excellent location in Old Town, Hastings. The Red room was very comfortable, top quality bed linen and the facilities throughout the property are sublime with every attention to detail made. "I had a lovely spacious room and great en-suite shower room. It had everything you could want, fluffy towels and nice toiletries. A fridge with chilled water and fresh milk. Also a comfortable guest lounge with extra refreshments available. The staff were very friendly helpful and efficient. "

"The rooms were pleasant, great features having a bathroom in a former bank vault, however the mattress was poor as you could hear and feel the springs when you moved, and the bathroom extractor fan dropped dust. The breakfast in the bistro was fabulous and service was great. It was excellent value all in all. "

"Good convenient location. Clean well appointed rooms. Staff welcoming and very helpful. Only issue is the room on the 2nd floor was unbearably warm and there was no way to manually control it. The staff provided a floor fan on our second night and moved us to an upper floor day 3 and 4. I would stay again but request a higher floor. "

"Wonderful greeting even though we were an hour early. Place is a quirky delight with lots of character and exceptionally welcoming. Louise was a charming host and nothing was too much try. Shower in our room had a fault but we were offered the use of another room and this was also spotless. Lovely breakfast. Views far reaching and quiet for a good night’s sleep. Highly recommended will definitely return. "

"Great stay as we traveled the south coast of England. Wonderfully walkable waterfront with a lot of restaurants just steps away. Very nice and helpful service at the front desk, and parking was super easy."

Good location

"Good location, few minutes walk from station and easy to get around the town. The communal stairs area had unpleasant smell and front door never locked. Property can do with some maintenance as showing lots of wear and tear eg,scuffed paint, frayed carpet, mould in bathroom, door catch broken on main door. The door to patio needs repairing as draft and broken lock. Comfortable beds made up for our arrival with towels. Well stocked kitchen. Good communication and instructions in advance of our arrival "
