"Fantastic large top floor bedroom-no good for guests with mobility issues as 49 steps to the room! Lovely and spacious with free standing bath and separate shower. Cosy balcony with table and chairs. Breakfast was first class although menu a bit confusing ie-were you allowed cereal as well as or instead of a cooked breakfast. My only gripe was the parking which was first come first served (and one guest parked very selfishly over the white line while we were there) so slightly unfair that some...

"We loved the location and the room. The restaurant was really great. The staff were all friendly. We had an issue with the shower not draining, so you could only take a few minutes of a shower before letting it drain to avoid it overflowing,"

"The hotel staff are very welcoming and lovely at 4:30 check in and also served a beer after the carvery closed. If you can not do stairs, this is not for you. The room was clean and the bed was reasonably comfortable. The tub chairs in the room were comfy enough but no coffee table or end table to place the coffee/tea cups on. Overall it was very good value for money. "
