"The staff was top notch! I was booked into another hotel and made a last minute reservation Pablo and Pablo, who basically manage the hotel, are the most professionl, ooutstanding, and friendliest people you will met. The whole staff goes out of their way to make sure you have an excellent experience. The hotel has beautiful surroundings. The atmosphere is tranquil . I was in a room with a balcony that overlooked the pool and courtyard it had a wonderful view of the sunset. Plus the rooms where kept in immaculate condition. The hotel itself is located somewhat out from the downtown area but they will get you a cab for 5,000 paseos ($5) and even pick you up themselves if they could not get a cab back to the hotel. You could walk is about a 30 minte walk to town and the whole island is safe."

"It's the best place to stay if you appreciate the silence and you're looking for a quiet place because is far from the town and very close to Puna Pau and that makes that at night you can see the stars so clearly. The staff is so kind and makes your stance there so enjoyful. The taste of the breakfast is fresh, natural and so delicious and also the proportion is enough. The room is so big for one person and perfect, in my perception, for two persons. A great experience for sure, if I come back to the island I'll stay there for sure! "

"The staff at Tupa hotel is very helpful and speak excellent English. This is not an island where you find luxury hotels. The facilities are well-worn and basic. Given you accept that, you would do well to book Tupa hotel for the kindness and service. Bed was comfortable. Storage plentiful. Location convenient and they were wonderful about picking me up at the airport and taking me back. On time and efficient. I had an ocean-side room with a sliding door that opened on a mini-patio. One thing you should know is that the cleaning person always left the sliding door open to air out the room. This helps prevent mildew in this tropical climate. So don't leave valuables lying around. This wasn't an issue for me since I don't travel with any valuables other than my passport and money, which I keep with me at all times. One thing I wish I knew before I went was that they can book you tours at the hotel. I booked separately and had an awful experience on the tours. Check with them about tours when you reach out to book. A beautiful island that is still rustic."

"Had a wonderful experience at this cute little hotel. Staff was so warm and friendly, accommodations were so cute, clean, bright and best the AC was very cold. Breakfast was lovely each morning. Fun fact, we weren’t able to book our entire stay at this hotel, so we chose to ‘splurge’ on one of the fancy expensive hotels for our last night. Absolute waste of money. So if you’re wondering if this place is nice enough, trust me it beats the $1000 per night hotel. "
