"This hotel is one of a kind, the staff is incredible, the views out of this world! The room was honestly my favourite of any place I’ve stayed in all my travels. Clearly next level design and architecture in a very subtle and tasteful way. The spa treatment was wonderful and the cooking class under the banyan tree was magical. I wish I had stayed longer and definitely will next time I am back. I can’t express how fantastic this hotel is thank you for making us feel like home ❤️"

"It's a fabulous place. Beautiful rooms and the pool is fantastic. Breakfast was lovely, a bit fiddly with the coffee machine but no complaints. I was disappointed having arrived at 8.30pm that the 'all day dining' wasn't available. There wasn't any indication of the closing time on the website for evening meal. Had I known I would have eaten on the way. So perhaps make that clear on any booking in future. "

"Let's just say, I will definitely return. Clean, design like, minimal hotel. Private access to one of the best beaches in the South. Staff are friendly and the place feels homely. Easy access to local beach bars, restaurants, the train station, etc. Walk, tuk tuk, book a car via the hotel. If you are looking to relax on a quiet elegant property, solo or with partner, take it day by day, with amazing views, I recommend the Sandhya. Thank you. Frances (British)"

".A super,restful week. A great pool, essential since the sea is usually rough and potentially dangerous on this stretch of coastline. Quality and quantity of food not up to scratch and pricey. "WB Villa is one of the most peaceful places I have ever stayed in. It was right by the beach without anyone other than very pleasant locals nearby. The suite was tastefully decorated, the breakfast just right, the service top notch. I really felt like I was staying at a beautiful home away from home. Thank you WB Villa and all the staff."

"Lovely stay at Dinsara Pearl Villa with Noah and his family. The Villa is a little guest house tucked right on the headland at cape Weligama. It’s a beautiful view to wake up to in the morning, you can even check the surf at fisherman‘s reef from the garden. The accommodation is modest, simple, but comfortable. "A beautifully designed amd styled property, in lovely grounds. Fantastically friendly staff, knowledgable about local wildlife and great with kids."

"Amazing stay at The Frangipani Tree, the hotel was lovely with around 9 rooms so it felt very private, and dining each morning and evening with an ocean view was magical. The real stand out was the staff and the food, everyone went abov4e and beyond to make us comfortable and the Chef made meals specifically to our requests - nothing was too much trouble.
