We were only staying for 2 1/2 days so didn't get a chance to properly explore the town. We had a hire car which was handy to get in and out of Reykjavik.

"The Hotel staff are very welcoming and gave all additional information and advice about trips when asked for.Breakfast was continental and good quality but no hot food.We had a rental car so cannot comment about transport facilities. Overall a very good stay. The gym is an added bonus."
