"Ett Hem is a fantastic hotel with amazing staff, facilities and rooms. My only complaint and why I have given 4 stars instead of 5 is because the cost of food and drink was astronomical considering what he had. The traditional Christmas meal was not worth anywhere near the money it costs. "Staff were excellent from letting us check in early to helping us arrange a late check out and car parking for a week. Breakfast was great. Really good variety of everything. Supermarket next door was handy. 10 min easy walk to the station to get into central Stockholm (4 stops or thereabouts). Great restaurants near the station and shopping options too. Very safe area. "The vibe is modern and cozy, and the location is super convenient. Overall, very happy with the experience. That said, it would be great if they provided body lotion in the rooms—I missed having it. "All staff members - from front desk to housekeeping - were exceptional. The breakfast buffet was the best I've had and the restaurant was also excellent. Everything was spotless & in good repair. The only negatives were that 1) the rooms do not have mini-fridges; 2) compared to the US, they are extremely small; and 3) the hotel does not provide wash cloths. Also, the room did not have any type of a dedicated 'lounge' chair. There was a wooden chair at the work counter, but the only seating in the room was either that chair or the bed. I found myself going to the lobby to sit in regular chairs (while reading my book). "

Comfortable stay near the station.

"1 min walk from Stockholm Central bus terminal. Although the room I stayed was compact and had no window, it was clean and comfortable for just staying a night. Amenities such as shampoo/body soap and hand soap were available at room. You can get boiled water if you ask at reception."
