"In it's glory days I'm sure this was a terrific property. Sadly, it has deteriorated over the years and maintenance of the outdoor areas seems to have lapsed. The placita we were in was fairly new and updated. It was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The menu offered at the restaurant was quite limited, but again staff in the restaurant were friendly and helpful."

"Casa Mellado was an excellent find. The staff greeted & treated us as if we were family!! The service is fabulous. The food is delicious. You have to eat on the patio to enjoy the scenic view! Roads to the property are narrow but the hotel offers shuttle to and from the historic downtown area. Breathtaking views, quiet neighborhood, room was spacious and beautifully decorated Mexican rustic motif. Pictures do not do the hotel & property any justice.
