"In it's glory days I'm sure this was a terrific property. Sadly, it has deteriorated over the years and maintenance of the outdoor areas seems to have lapsed. The placita we were in was fairly new and updated. It was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. "We really enjoyed our stay at 1850 Hotel Boutique. Everything we needed was walking distance and the staff were very friendly. Room was a little smaller than expected but we spent most of the time exploring the city so it didn’t really matter. Housekeeping came in every day to clean which was nice. Guanajuato is a beautiful place to visit and this hotel made the experience more worth it"
