"The location, the grounds and the lovely Staab House bar were the best things about the stay. Our king bed fireplace room was fine but very small. Plastic cups in the bathroom and paper cups for the a espresso felt a bit like a typical budget hotel, not a luxury resort. There was an industrial motor/humming sound much of the night in our room. On the bright side, we had the pool and hot tub to ourselves on February 1! Every staff person was excellent— friendly and helpful. "

"The hotel itself was really pretty and at an amazing location. My only complaint is that the room smelled so bad. Think of every type of food leftover with the door closed for days on end. We left with all of our belongings and the car stinking like old takeout. We also had to ask for more towels since we didn’t get our room serviced and when we went to the desk, instead of giving us 4 towels they said “just 2 because they make us write everything down” lol? "

"We can't say enough good things about this B&B. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the rooms were cozy and quaint. Fireplace use is amazing and the rooms were very large. Our room had a bathroom that was disconnected (read the fine print) but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The breakfast in the morning was FANTASTIC!! "
