The hotel is right on the plaza so easy to visit many historic sites including the cathedral. Great city views right from our room. The rooms are small and it was the smallest queen sized bed I’ve ever seen.

Overall it was a nice stay. It was affordable and a convenient location. The front desk staff needs some serious customer service training. I had to ask for the WiFi code and where the breakfast is served. I think this should automatically be told. They also need to smile a bit more.

The place is somewhat old and the flooring in the room was already bold and broken. Amenities were ok but to be honest, for the price that I paid, it's what I was expecting. Pretty much a Motel 6 in Mexico.

The two double beds as described in the Expedia description are not double beds. They are x-wide twin beds which are about a foot short in width of a double bed. Great for two, not so much for 3 or 4 guest.

Generally the hotel is good value. Unfortunately there were two things that marred the experience. 1. Our bathroom sink would not drain, which was fairly gross. In spite of asking at the front desk, it was not fixed during our stay. 2. Our room overlooked the busy square which was very noisy until late at night.

The room was small and no fridge. But the overall stay was good. I just expected more because it was a their higher tier room. Top floor, balcony. The bed was mid. I usually stay in American chain hotels because the experience is more consistent and I like to have a fridge to keep my water cold. The view was great. I’ll still go with a four stars because the misses were my fault for not checking on the details that are important to me.
