"During checking in the clerk, quoted me a different price that was sent to my phone through email from hotel.com . They were charging me the price that they charge customers booking directly from them. The clerk at check-in was very rude and never smiled, She made me feel very uncomfortable as if it was my fault that i was being over charged. She made me feel uncomfortable while other others were standing around, waiting to check in. I felt so embarrassed because I knew what price I was quoted through hotels.com was not the price they were charging me. She said that the Manager would have to correct it. Upon checking out when I received my receipt it had the correct price on the receipt. When I checked my credit card account I was charged the hotel’s rate and not hotel.com rate. This was not a good experience for a family vacation for me. I was very disappointed with the experience that I had. I called the manager later to let her know they overcharged me and she said that it would be reimbursed to my card within 3 to 5 days. I am waiting to see if they reimburse me. If they don’t reimburse me, I will dispute the charges with my bank. I hope this gets resolved before I have to call the bank because I believe the price that was quoted to me through hotels.com is the price that they should have charged my credit card. I hope someone addresses this issue and even speaks to the representative at the service desk that was very rude to me and never apologized for her actions."
