"The room I had was roomy and clean, bathroom/shower again clean and spacious. Equipment and white goods suited my needs. Entrance to the room a little dark as outside lights didn't react early enough. Overall I would book again if in that area."

"This was not what we expected. The description said there was a bathroom - there wasn’t. It said there were three rooms it was only two the heating was inadequate. There was no instructions for cooker which was set too low. "

"i went with my daughter, had an amazing time! my cousins were at arena uk just 7 mins drive. so had the comfort of being able to relax at the beginning and end of day. Loved the fact had internet and watch all my favourite programmes on Netflix etc. My daughter was able to chill in her own room with tv at the end of a busy day. "

"The rooms were huge, spacious and very comfortable. heating and cooling options were great. The lobby and bar areas were done up beautifully for Christmas. We arrived at 2.30pm and they wouldn’t let us check in until 3pm which was a bit annoying. Many of the lamps in the room didn’t work which made reading in bed hard as the room was very dark. "A lovely hotel which is very well located in Stamford, The Crown is near the main shopping street and many restaurants. It is also within walking distance of the Burghley estate. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable; our room faced out onto the street but the thick curtains ensured that we were not disturbed by the lights. Breakfast was very good and the staff are courteous and efficient. We arrived at check-in time and managed to park in the hotel car park, but it is quite small and I think it would have been full if we’d arrived much later. However, this is still a great hotel which I would highly recommend."

"THE best host I've ever stayed with. Attentive beyond belief. From meeting us and bringing our bags to the room then joining us for drinks at the bar and offering us so much local information. Didn't get chance to try the restaurant but smelt terrific all the time. Delightful stay, thank you."
